The Borno State Police Command has announced a temporary relaxation of curfew imposed in the State.

This was contained in a statement on Friday, issued by the police public relations officer ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, posted on X App (Formerly Called Twitter).

Street News understands that the relaxation is coming following an immediate 24-hour curfew announced in the State.

This is in response to the tragic detonation of an improvised explosive device in Kawori Market, Konduga area of Borno State on Wednesday night.

The explosion suspected to be carried out by a Boko Haram suicide bomber resulted in the deaths of 16 individuals, and critical injuries to several others.

“Relaxation of curfew in Borno State Friday 12pm to 3pm. From Sat. 6am.
Members of the public should go about their lawful business and shun all forms of violence.”-It reads
