SP John confirmed that the suspect is in custody and undergoing interrogation as investigations continue. She reaffirmed the Command’s determination to eradicate crimes that threaten public safety and critical infrastructure.

“The Akwa Ibom State Police Command remains committed to protecting lives, property, and national assets. We urge citizens to report any suspicious activity, as public cooperation is vital to our success,” she stated.

Meanwhile, efforts are ongoing to track down other members of the gang who remain at large.
