The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has uplifted the ban placed on the monthly Biometric Verification Exercise.
In a memo sent by the directorate headquarters of NYSC, to State coordinators and their Local Government inspectors on Monday it directed that the monthly BVE should begin on August 27th to 30th August, 2024.
It reads “I am directed to inform you that the portal will be opened for the August 2024 monthly Biometric clearance for corps members from 27th to 30tj August, 2024.
“State coordinators are therefore requested to ensure the conduct of the exercise within the aforementioned period.”
Street news had reported that the scheme had ordered the immediate suspension of weekly Community Development Service (CDS), and the monthly Local Government Biometric Verification Exercise, over the planned hunger Protest.
