The State Security Adviser (Southern Senatorial District) to the Governor of Cross River State, Navy Commander (Ambassador) Patrick Bassey Odiong (Rtd.), has joined well meaning Cross Riverians to congratulate the Governor and Deputy Governor on their one year of impactful leadership and governance.

In his words, ‘It’s one year since you took over office as administrators of our dear state, and I must say that you have achieved 360 degree success with dividends of democracy as promised during your electioneering campaign.’

Speaking on the strides recorded in the security sector, Odiong said ‘Security remains paramount in every government. With your leadership, the security sector, just as every other sector, has recorded tremendous achievements. With your  unwavering commitment to making sure our dear state experiences top notch security and safety, the security sector has deployed cutting edge digital security and Artificial Intelligence (AI) services which have brought crimes and criminals to a stand still in the state. This will surely attract investors and investment to the state.’

He further spoke on one of the many factors that led to a successful security sector, the Adviser said that the Governor’s friendly disposition to the federal and state security apparatus has played a key role in listing the state on the map of most peaceful, safe, secure and business friendly state in the nation and the West African sub-region at large.

He ended his message with a prayer to God for the leaders.

“May the Lord grant you, Your Excellencies, the grace, wisdom and all it takes to lead our dear state to the next enviable level,” he concluded.
