Pastor Usman Samson, a Nigerian Pastor, become the internet sensation after he distributed foodstuff to his church members on Sunday. Members of Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Uyo did not see this coming as they all received food parcels including tubers of yam, garri, rice, and other essential food items.
The church, located in the heart of Uyo city, just by the Town campus of University of Uyo, received many commendations from witnesses and passersby as members trooped out with foodstuff.
The Pastor disclosed that this was not the first time members were receiving food items from the church. Adding that this was done to help cushion the effect of hardship in the country, and that it is time for the church to help members as members have been known for helping the church. The Benue born Muslim turned Pastor took to his Facebook page to share the news. “Food distribution continues and this is the third Sunday in a row. If the people have been there for the Church, it is time for the Church to be there for the people in a season like this.”
One of the beneficiaries also shared her experience on Facebook. “All thanks to God. Sunday Vibes at Dunamis Church,Uyo Headquarter.” Another beneficiary said “This was how we started the first Church in Antioch…”
