As part of marking the children’s day celebration, A former All Progressive Cross River State governorship aspirant, Engr Ben Akak has called for improved welfare, love and kindness to children across the country as a way of giving them a sense of belonging and assurance that the future is bright for them.
Ben Akak made the call on Monday in a children’s day celebration titled “Engr Ben Akak Appreciate Our Children” seen by our correspondent.
He emphasized that as charming souls, living among us, parents need to appreciate, spend time with them as well as making sure they become better and responsible citizens.
Akak noted that children are the future of every country and needed to be groomed with utmost care and protected irrespective of family background.
“Children’s Day is pretty special as it is to celebrate the innocence of the charming little souls among us. As a parent, having children is one of the most significant things that can ever happen to you. As a brother or sister, having siblings is a big joy. As a teacher, it is your duty to help children become better people”.
“It’s the perfect time to appreciate these precious gifts from God. Send them Children’s Day wishes and prayers to show your love. Don’t miss this chance to make them feel special.
“Every Kid is special regardless of race, religion, and caste. Shower them with lots of love and positivity on this Children’s Day and make sure to teach them how to be more kind to the world. Remember this, when a kid smiles, God smiles upon you”.
Ben Akak was a former Cross River State governorship aspirant, under the All Progressive Congress for the 2023 General elections. He is also the chairman of Ben Akak’s foundation.
