Eyo Bassey Congratulates Ekpo Ekpo, Other Bakassi Appointees; Pledges Support

The Honourable Member representing Bakassi in Cross River State House of Assembly, Hon. Eyo Bassey, popularly called Empowerment Chairman, has congratulated appointees who were recently announced by the Governor of Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu, on March 5, 2024. Amongst the new appointees are members of his constituents who were appointed into various offices. In his recent post on his official Facebook page, he said “Congratulations to my former Boss, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ekpo Ekpo Bassey, Mr Effiong Etim Okon, Esemin Iso and others on your recently announced appointment into the Government of our dear Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu.”

He further made a pledge to continue working with all well meaning Bakassi people to drive his empowerment agenda. “As we expand, I will continue to work with you, and every other person for the good of the Bakassi people” he added.

Rt. Hon (Dr.) Ekpo Ekpo, who was a two term member of Cross River State House of Assembly representing Bakassi State Constituency (2015-2023), was recently appointed as Special Adviser Health while Mr. Effiong Etim Okon was appointed Director General, Cross River State Waterways. Also in the list of new appointees is Mr. Esemin Iso who was appointed Community Relations Officer for Bakassi LGA.
