The management of Dangote Petroleum Refinery has condemned the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) for issuing a directive to its branches to cut off gas supply to the refinery, calling it ‘lawless’ and ‘criminal.’

Press release from Dangote

In a statement, Dangote Refinery accused PENGASSAN of attempting to sabotage the refinery’s operations and disrupt the supply of petroleum products to Nigerians, warning that the directive would cause ‘unquantifiable and irredeemable hardship’ to the country.
