Ayambem also urged workers to rally behind the administration of Governor Bassey Otu, whose “People First” agenda he described as being firmly rooted in improving the welfare and empowerment of the state’s workforce.

“This government remains steadfast in ensuring that labour is respected, rewarded, and protected,” he stated.

He concluded with a warm tribute to workers in the state and across the nation, expressing hope that their efforts would continue to yield recognition and national development.

“On this special day, I salute every worker in Cross River State and beyond. May your efforts never go in vain. Happy Workers’ Day!”
