The town hall meeting, aptly named ‘My Constituents and I,’ provided a platform for direct interaction between Hon. Bassey and Bakassi residents. Attendees shared their concerns, needs, and challenges faced by the typical Bakassi youth. Hon. Bassey listened attentively, recognizing the unique circumstances of the Bakassi people.
The Bakassi constituency has encountered numerous challenges, particularly stemming from the unfortunate territorial ceding. Hon. At this gathering, Hon. Bassey unveiled the ‘Bakassi Youths Empowerment Structure’, a strategic framework designed to address the specific needs of Bakassi’s young population.
