The Federal Ministry of Youth Development has officially withdrawn the registration certificate of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN). This decision follows a detailed review by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), which uncovered serial violations of the NYCN constitution and the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020.

According to a statement by the Ministry’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Omolara Esan, the CAC found that the NYCN had breached sections 833 and 834 of CAMA 2020, leading to the withdrawal of its registration certificate issued on October 28, 2020.
