Bobrisky Denies Giving 15M Bribe To EFCC Officers

Idris Okuneye, the self-acclaimed Nigerian transgender popularly called Bobrisky, has denied paying the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) N15,000,000 to drop the money laundry charge Against her.

 This is coming after Controversial Nigerian social media activist Vincent Martins Otse, popularly called  VeryDarkMan, had  continued to call out popular crossdresser Bobrisky on social media over his prison term.

VDM had  alleged that Bobrisky had paid some unnamed officers of the EFCC the sum of N15,000,000 to drop money laundering charges against him.

Bobrisky was initially arraigned on six count charge bordering on naira abuse and money laundering to the tune of N127,780,877.68.

However on an Instagram post on Wednesday morning, Bobrisky denied bribing any EFCC officer to drop money laundering charges against him, he noted that he had served his jail term.

The controversial social media sensation also described the viral voice recording as fake, stressing that the claims that he never was in prison was fake and should be ignored.

He wrote “My attention has been drawn to a fake voice recording circulating on the internet that I paid EFCC 15 Million Naira, and that I was never in prison.

“ I didn’t pay any EFCC money, which is a very big lie. I served my term in full, and came out. Discard any false information”.-Bobrisky wrote.

Street News reported that  the Anti-graft Agency has since denied the allegations, it promised to Investigate the allegation.
