Bakkasi LG Assembly Screens, Confirms New Team

The 7th Bakassi Legislative Assembly has screened and confirmed ten supervisor nominees presented by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Effiong Okon.

The nominees, including the Council Secretary, were screened during a plenary session held at the Alloyed Chamber on Wednesday.

The successful nominees are Hon. Maureen Effiom, Hon. Esemin Archibong, Hon. Effanga Bassey, Mr. Peter Okon, Barr. Effiom Effiong, Mr. Victor Eyo, Mr. Bassey Edet, Mr. Benjamin Ita, Mr. Victor Okon Mr. Patrick Ene.

The process according to the leader of the Bakkasi’s Legislative Assembly RT. Hon. Grace Bassey is “aimed at ensuring the competence and suitability of the nominees for their respective roles in advancing the development of Bakassi Local Government Area.”

The Assembly commended the Chairman for presenting a diverse and capable team, ensuring transparency and fairness throughout the screening process.

The new team is expected to work collaboratively to drive development and progress in Bakassi Local Government Area.

At the plenary, Hon Grace noted that the Legislative Assembly remains committed to upholding its role in promoting good governance and supporting initiatives that prioritize the welfare of the people of Bakassi.
