As the nation prepares to Mark and celebrate the one year anniversary of the president Tinubu’s administration on May 29, 2024, the presidency said it will not address members of the National Assembly.
This is coming, after many media reports had been published (not Street news), that the president will address the national assembly on Wednesday to mark his one year anniversary celebration.
In a State House press release issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on media and publicity, tittled ” IN COMMEMORATION OF MAY 29 AND THE FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF THE PRESIDENT TINUBU ADMINISTRATION”, the presidency noted that the Tinubu’s administration is more concern about transformative projects will be inaugurated for the benefit of all Nigerians.
“In furtherance of his commitment to delivering good governance, President Bola Tinubu has embarked on the inauguration of strategic projects across the country.
“More transformative projects will be inaugurated by President Tinubu’s administration for the benefit of all Nigerians.
“In view of public commentary concerning the President delivering a speech before a Joint Sitting of the National Assembly tomorrow, May 29, 2024, it is important to state that this information is false and unauthorized as the Office of the President was not involved in the planning of the event.”- It reads
Bola Ahmed Tinubu who was inaugurated as Nigeria’s president , under the platform of the All Progressive Congress, on May 29, 2023, will be marking his one year anniversary as Nigeria’s president on May 29, 2024.
