A lady by the name Khadijah has narrated how Illorin people harassed another lady in her presence for wearing a short denim skirt. She took it to X (formerly Twitter) with the username @kha_dijah0, to narrate the story.
According to her, she was almost beaten for defending the lady on short skirt. “They almost beat me today. Illorin Muslim need to learn manner of approach and correction without harassment. I was passing through Ilorin central mosque today the lady in front of me was wearing a short denim skirt paired with round neck and a face cap . The next thing everyone there started calling her all sort of names, someone mother even stood obstruct her for walking away, she was feeling very bad , I had to step in , I ask her to stand behind me , I told them my mind then drag the girl with me , she was close to crying.”
“She definitely doesn’t live here , neither is she a Muslim , her denim skirt covered her thighs, the least you would see is her kneels downward, she already sense Muslims has extremist , I just have to talk her out of it , thank God she was going my way.”
