President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has sacked Prof. Tahir Mamman, as the Minister of Education.
The termination of his appointment was announced at the federal executive council (FEC) meeting on Wednesday.
In a statement issued shortly after by Bayo Onanuga the Special Adviser to the president on Information and strategy, the president thanked the outgoing members of the Federal Executive Council for their service to the nation while wishing them the best in their future endeavours.
Other sacked Ministers include; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, minister of state, housing and urban development; Lola Ade-John, the minister of tourism; and Jamila Bio Ibrahim, minister of youth development.
The president also announced the reshuffling of 10 ministers to new portfolios and the nomination of seven new ministers for submission to the senate for confirmation.
