Asuquo Cletus Felix, a reporter from Street News Abuja, has been nominated for the prestigious Columbia Journalism School’s 2025-26 program. This recognition acknowledges his dedication and hard work in storytelling and reporting.

The program aims to equip Felix with advanced skills and knowledge to tackle complex stories and produce high-impact journalism.
In a confirmation email, the admissions team invited Felix to an online discussion, “Where to Begin?” The event, scheduled for Friday, September 13, at 12:00 PM ET, will guide him on choosing the right degree program and initiating his Columbia application.
It reads “Dear Cletus With Columbia Journalism School’s 2025-26 application now open, the admissions team invites you to join us for “Where to Begin?” – an online discussion about how to determine which of our degree programs may be the right fit for someone with your background and professional goals, and how to take the first steps with your Columbia application.
The event will take place online on Friday, September 13, at 12:00 PM ET.”
Asuquo Cletus Felix, is a graduate from the University Of Cross River State, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
He also obtained a course Certification from the African Foundation For Young Media Practitioners on Social and disability inclusion Journalism.
He served as the Secretary, Editor and president of the Union Of campus Journalist, UNICROSS chapter.
