The Cross River State Government has released a plan for payment of gratuities to retired Civil and Public Servants in the state.
This is coming days after the state Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu had approved Ten Billion Naira for the payment of gratuities to retired Civil and Public Servants.
In a public service announcement issued on Sunday by Nsa Gill, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor titled “Plan For Payment Of Gratuities To Retired Civil/Public Servants In Cross River State”, it noted that the plan is in the first phase to deserving pensioners in the state.
It also invited heads of Civil Service, Accountant General, and Auditor General to an Inaugural meeting with the Secretary to the State Government Prof Anthony Owan Enoh.
