Eyo Bassey Commends Governor Otu’s One Year Achievements

Hon. Eyo Bassey (Empowerment Chairman), Member representing Bakassi State Constituency, has commended the Governor and Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu and Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, on their one year in office anniversary. In a statement shared on his social media page, the Honourable Member said that Governor Otu’s led government has successfully redefined governance and leadership from the highest office holder to the common citizen.

He also stated that the incumbent government has achieved great progress in agriculture, SMEs, civil service, tourism, education, health and power sectors. ‘There is no doubt that the remaining years will record much more successes,’ he said.

He further spoke on how the Bakassi people whom he represents are happy with the government of the day, sighting the recent announcement on the electrification project targeting some LGAs without power supply, Bakassi inclusive.

“The Bakassi people are eternally happy with you, Your Excellency ,as electricity supply returns for the first time in about 7 years,” he added.

Eyo prayed to God to grant the leaders  great honour and matchless strength as they ‘dive into the next phase of your journey in office.’
